A Very Special Rhone Dinner!

Here at Greene’s, currently FOOD&WINE Magazines Best Restaurant in Munster, wine is a very important part of our overall dining experience so we are delighted to make our own contribution to Rhone Wine Week Ireland (Oct 29th-Nov 5th) by offering an exclusive tasting dinner of the very finest local, seasonal produce, cultivated and foraged from the wild, presented by our award-winning chef Bryan McCarthy and all paired with some of the very finest wines from the world-renowned Rhone Valley wine region, in France.

The evening, hosted by food writer Joe McNamee (Irish Examiner, McKennas’ Guides) will also feature a lively, informative and fun Q&A session with two of the region’s finest winemakers, Bruno Boisson, of Domaine Boisson, and Irish-based Simon Tyrrell, of Les Deux Cols. (Rhone Wine Week is an all-Ireland celebration of this legendary region with tastings, dinners, offers and special events taking place the length and breadth of the country.) In addition, on the night we will be featuring Kalak Vodka, Ireland’s finest new boutique vodka brand, distilled in Skibbereen, in West Cork.

Our evening in Greene’s promises to be one of the highlights of the local culinary calendar, with some of the very best of Irish cooking washed down with the some of the very best of French wine, in other words, an unmissable night of fun, frolics and the very, very finest food and wine!
